Beat me to it... somebody has beaten me to it...
*The sound of her pacing the metal floor can be heard, with a distinct tap-tap-CLUNK sound of her staff. She stops, and flings herself down on the bed. Thump. muffled in the sift sheets, she continues.*
I went to confront Thode. I went to look for him in Crimson Ridge. By the time I got there, I had more than talk on my mind. I loaded a blaster. Nobody would think that I would use a blaster. I looked for him... but I didn't find him. I looked again for the advertisement which lead me here, and then I learned about it. Retracted- due to Thode's death. *The deflated hum of a blaster unloading can be heard on the recording.* So long as it's done, it's done. Maybe it's for the best that I was not the one to pull the trigger.
So then I went back into space, but my adventure wasn't over yet. The force drew me to Lok... I know it was Zan, or something having to do with him. The feeling soon faded, and I found myself in Virantis. I stopped by to see Sayon, but he was busy shortly after, so I hung out outside the city for the rest of the night and turned on my Comm. When my comm turned on... reality set in. Lawrence scolded me good for having flown across the galaxy unescorted with no comm. He sent Ryan after me to escort me somewhere safe, but shortly after we headed out, a sandstorm brewed up. Luckily, Ryan was able to rig a speeder with some scrap we aquired outside the city. Not fancy by any means... but it got us to Virantis before it broke down.
Once there, we stumbled into a situation regarding an imperial spy and a crashed transport. We picked through it for salvage... something which I think Ryan is still doing as we speak... and handed the findings over to Fath and Vearos. Well.. I do have a confession.. I kept the fuzzy dice for myself. Heh. I wasn't much help with the salvage- just about the only thing I was good for was crawling inside a little hole to scrape out the computor components. When I grabbed all I could I went to find Fathuran.. followed him to the security something or other.
He asked how Zan was... I lost it a little bit. It was shameful of me, I thought, but he was understanding. He offered a different veiw of mourning from the one I heard of before.. one that, when he put it that way, didn't seem like it was as bad as the Jedi made it out to be- it lets us know we're sentient. Well.. the jedi have been wrong before. Could this, too, be something I should break away from? ....is this my weakness speaking? No, I don't think so. In any case, I will get the chance to "eulogize him in battle" now that I have been given the chance to join the Virantis security force. Where I might be needed, too, if that armored man is up to the treachery I sensed. I will be staying in Virantis for a little while. I told Vearos and Fathuran about my.. problem.. and was reassured that they would take appropriate security measures if I became a threat because of it. I am to give Ryan a security pass as well, when he is finished with his task.
I wonder if the force was drawing me here in the first place, yet I think there is still something else I was meant to do. It might be suicide, but I feel I need to go through New Veglas. I'm debating whether to tell anyone about this or not. In any case, to bed I go again. I'll need rest whatever I do.
