Entry #62

I may be in some deep trouble with my commanding officer. This wouldn't be a notable statement coming from me, if my commanding officer was not Keren.

*That good old sarcastic chuckle shows it's face again, ending in a grim little groan.*

He saw my alliance file. I don't know just how much he's seen, but considering his associate mentioned "Starbender" I'm guessing he had pretty high clearance. That worries me..

There's a flipside to honesty- he always seems to speak the whole truth, but he expects others to do the same. Namely, me. I don't want to be unfair to him, or to offend him, but about anyone who knows me knows that complete honesty is not in my nature. Add that to the fact that he's such a Jedi...  not that that's a bad thing, scince he walks the walk, so to speak   ...but I fear that if I were to tell him my own whole truth, then I'd lose his respect completely.

Though, as I think about it, any respect based on fallacy has no right to be there in the first place. Now far be it from me to have qualms about takin' what I've no right to, but scince he's my friend, I find myself giving a damn.

*She snaps her fingers*

Ah'ha! Speakin' of taking what I've no right to, I've got to remember to sharpen my old skills if Jaelon and I are gonna make that run. Piracy isn't something I expected him to take so easily to, but he didn't seem to resent the idea, so I figure I'll take it a step further and pick out a nice little fleet that's strayed from the pack, and see how he likes the idea then. Talkin' about a thing and doing a thing seem a lot closer together once a bit of a plan has been formulated.

Oh! Also, speaking of talking of things, I've got some wonderful news-- *Her voice is cut off by an annoying beeping* garr..  I'll have to catch up with this later. Duty calls.
